BOULDER INITIATIVE 300

"WHAT IT DOES

This initiative would increase occupancy limits for renters and expand housing access—so that up to four unrelated people would be allowed to live together in a three-bedroom house, up to five unrelated people would be allowed to live together in a four-bedroom house.

WE SAY VOTE YES BECAUSE

Housing is already inaccessible in the city of Boulder and current restrictions increase the risk of homelessness. Young people and students living in Boulder currently face barriers with the current restrictions that are in place – especially when compounded by the growing cost of college, skyrocketing rent, and the high cost of living. This initiative would bring more housing access to the city of Boulder by breaking down barriers.
