"While the Council approved the No Evictions Without Representation ballot measure, council members didn’t change their minds about putting the Bedrooms are for People initiative on the ballot. The Council previously voted 5-4 against it.
City officials gave the Bedrooms are for People campaign incorrect information about filing and signature requirements. After the Council declined to refer the measure to the ballot, the campaign sued Boulder. A 20th Judicial District Court judge ruled Friday that the initiative is not qualified to be placed on the November ballot.
Campaign organizers said they plan to appeal."
